Curious about what it's like to be a member at KA? Here's the skinny.
The staff, veteran members, and even newer members all do their part to make sure every member here at KA is satisfied. Unified, we make an excellent team. However, if you are the type of member who is uncomfortable interacting out of character with other, often times unfamiliar members, you are guaranteed to feel distanced from the site. KA thrives not only on it's amazing storylines and super-cool characters, but also on the out of character relationships one forms as a member of the site. As the head administrator, I hear time to time from unsatisfied members who feel that they have been "left out" of the main social group. The only solution I can offer them is to jump into action and put themselves out there. I simply cannot stress enough to new members how important it is to bridge the gap by introducing themselves and making friends. Most of our members are big fans of AOL Instant Messenger, not to mention the common chats that occur between them.
Outside of the social circle, members are treated rather royally by the head admin (that would be me!). I try my hardest to make sure there are constantly new and exciting plots out on the table but there are always fun and sometimes humorous mini-plots provided by other members going on around the main one. The site is very open to member input and opinions— I love to hear what you have to say about what's going on and it's rare indeed that I don't get positive feedback. Layout changes are plentiful, so you can look forward to that. Boards are constantly groomed and updated, keeping a healthy sense of change to ensure members do not become bored with the content. KA is also proud to provide a graphic service with a number of designers all willing to design avatars and banners for any inquring member.
